1. DEFINITION OF APPLICATION LETTER

A job application letter contains a request to work in a place or company. Through a cover letter, the applicant submits a request to be accepted as an employee. This application must of course contain a thesis and the thesis must be supported by strong arguments so that those who will accept applicants feel confident about their application.

The job application letter is formal. The formality of the letter can be marked from the information regarding the initial source of the information. For example, a letter to apply for a job as an employee or a certain position is obtained from an official government or company announcement that is published through the mass media, either in the form of letters or advertisements.

2. TYPE OF APPLICATION LETTER

Job application letters are divided into 2 types, namely:
1. Job application letter combined with curriculum vitae. In this way, the curriculum vitae includes the contents of the letter because the contents are composite. This method is also called the combined model.
2. Job application letter separated from curriculum vitae. In this way the curriculum vitae is an appendix and this method is called a separate model.

In general, a job application letter consists of an opening, introduction and brief personal data, the intent and purpose of the letter is made, a list of file attachments, and a closing. Applicants must pay close attention to the brief personal data listed and the job position to be applied for. This is done to avoid typos, typos, or vocabulary errors.

1. The place and date of writing the letter.
2. Attachments and subject matter.
3. Mailing address.

5. HOW TO WRITE A GOOD APPLICATION LETTER

It is important to write a good job application letter so that recruiters are interested and choose you as a candidate for the next stage of recruitment. Come on, follow these tips to write a good job application letter!

1. Give an individual impression.
Make sure you write the company name correctly according to the purpose. Often, applicants will write the wrong company name when sending job applications to various companies. If it's for someone at the company, be specific with their name and title.

2. Short and concise.
Writing a job application letter should be short and concise, not wordy. In addition, you also have to use language that is easy to understand. It's best to avoid using difficult words with the intention of impressing readers or recruiters with your choice of language.

3. Do not write more than one page.
A job application letter should be no more than one page. Companies may receive dozens, dozens, even hundreds of applications. Therefore, a cover letter that is too long will not be effective.

4. Neat and clean.
Make sure the job application letter is neat and clean. This can be anticipated by writing it in a computer program. If you write it by hand, don't get streaks or use X-Type. Also, don't let there be typos or typos, ok?

5. Impressive or imposing.
Describe yourself well and attractively, but don't be too arrogant or too condescending. Through a job application letter, you can "sell" yourself so that recruiters can be interested.

6. Mention experiences or achievements that have been achieved.
Briefly describe your experiences or achievements. Of course it has to be done in accordance with the reality on the ground, yes, because it's not uncommon for recruiters to first find out the truth of the data that you include in a job application letter. Thus, applicants will consider the application you submitted.

7. There is no need to send a job application letter in English if you are not qualified.
Even though the recruiter will consider and give additional points, sending a job application letter in English without qualified skills will actually burden you.

Well, now you know about job application letters and how to write them properly and correctly. Hopefully what I'm saying can be of use and a reference for making your job application letter.

Until here first, bye and thank you.
